Hey Rebekah, I'm Alek. I remember being a beginner Wiccan. the best advice I can give you is to let the books and internet information supplement your own meditation and beliefs, not the other way around.

I must agree with Alek ~ explore what there is to offer, & take from it whatever suits you & who you want to be :D
I began studying Wicca when I was about 13 (I'm 22 now), and have grown to hold dear a tradition that, however strongly influenced by Wicca, is very much my own.
Any questions you have, never be afraid to ask because (although you may get several different viewpoints depending on who's answering) they will always be answered around here!! :)
